This process allows the user to generate a wireframe slice along the full length of a specified polyline. The results can be used for the creation of "true sections" which are common requirement in many mining environments.
Data for this tutorial can be found in the Tutorials directory, pathway: mineCAD \ Tutorials \ True Section.
1) Select the correct layer in the Current Design Project Tree by left-clicking on it. It is not necessary to activate the layer.
2) Initiate the Wireframe Slicing process through the pull down menu or with the shortcut tool bar buttons.
3) Select the polyline to slice by left-clicking on it in the design window. Note the 'Please select polyline to slice along' prompt in the task bar indicates that this action is required.
4) Enter a name for the slice layer in the dialog.
5) Accept the defaults by clicking OK in the Wireframe Slice Along Polyline Dialog.
